I appreciate my gun. Thank you gun. Thank you for standing at the ready. Thank you for saving my life.

Ode to Gun

glock22-sm

Without you, my gun
I’d have no one, not even
me.  I owe you one.

So here’s THAT one, gun;
where I say you are MY gun-
nothing above you

save Heaven’s Father.
Nothing between us except
God and our country.

Have Gun Will Travel
to ends of earth proclaiming
God’s Liberty song!

Please don’t tread on me
world, or I’ll make my gun sing!
rat-a-tat-tat, rat

C’mon gun, let’s get
hell out of Dodge, let heaven
take a crack at it.

From dust are we born,
to dust we shall rest in peace;
me and Blue steel gun.

Senate about to vote on International Treaty

The Senate is going into Executive Session to, what I assume, hash out this Treaty (Document 112-7) Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; a treaty that 36 Republicans signed a letter opposing international treaties during lame-duck session.  There are Republicans that believe the Treaty could be a threat to U.S. sovereignty.

Questions that arise for me are:

1. what else is in this Treaty that’s not being talked about in open session; does Treaty have a hidden agenda?
2. why would this Treaty take precedence over the other more urgent matters on the Congressional plate?
3. a first-bourne test for international law or “international liberal order” progression spoken about on other C-SPAN programs?

BRAKING NEWS! Are Senate Democrats Passing Bills without Republican Representation..?

Maybe I have this wrong, but Harry Reid and other Democrats are smiling sheepishly while they are voting very quickly.  I believe Republican Senator Kyle objected and left the floor.  Someone following the votes on C-SPAN tonight. I’m in and out and need assistance and shout out a call for vigilance.
